NLRB Mandatory Employer Posting Requirement April 2012

Concealed Carry: To Ban or Not to Ban Weapons... Wisconsin Employers Join the Debate  

Wisconsin has joined the majority of US states already imposing concealed carry acts in some form.  Employers in such "opt out" states are faced with the decision to allow concealed weapons carry on company premises. The argument against banning weapons lies largely in the statistics and in the liability. The argument for banning weapons lies largely in perception of safety and in the ability to attract, retain and engage a productive workforce comprised of people unaccustomed to concealed weapons carry and its perceived threats. Summary and policy sample.     

Ministerial Exception to Employment Discrimination

In a major religious liberty decision, the Supreme Court for the first time recognized a “ministerial exception” to employment discrimination laws, saying that churches and other religious groups must be free to choose their leaders without government interference. New York Times Article
